Good Girl Knows

Good girl knows
Of the boy who
Stood too close
And made her giggle
When he stroked her
With his touch
Good girl yelled
nervously
When the boy’s touch
Grew too much
And grew disappointed
When the boy answered
Her plea
For him to stop
​
Good girl sighs
And knows that soon
the time will come
When her cry
Will no longer have
The urgency it demands
Good girl knows
The good in all things had
